Duties: The Manager of Business Development will be responsible for identifying and contacting prospects and closing new business for 3Degrees. The Manager of Business Development must clearly define and compellingly present the value proposition of the 3Degrees offerings to large corporate or institutional customers, including Fortune 1500 companies and to other key channels involved in the USGBC LEED green building sector, such architects, contractors, and other consultants. The ideal candidate for this position will be accomplished in renewable energy and/or carbon sales and business development and will possess strong prospecting skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex products in evolving markets. The candidate will have excellent presentation skills, high energy, integrity, authenticity, and a strong desire to help 3Degrees grow its market presence. This person should have a passion for renewable energy, teamwork, and innovation, which are all characteristics of 3Degrees. This position involves significant travel.

  • Prior business-to-business sales experience
  • Prospecting experience and tenacity building new relationships via cold-calling, conferences, and other means
