Business Development Manager, Acre Resources

One of the fastest growing energy and carbon management companies in the UK seeks two Business Development Managers. One position will be in London and the other will be located in Leeds.

These roles have come about due to expansion within the organisation. The current climate provides a great opportunity for candidates to be part of a fast growing company within an exciting emerging market place, and an opportunity to exceed targets in an expanding market.

The Business Development Manager is an office/field based position which is dedicated to maximising the new business performance of the organisation in an assigned vertical sector. There are three vertical sectors and they include: public, manufacturing, and services.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Achievement of all financial sales targets and sales activity levels

  • Identification and conversion of prospects to maximise profitable sales volume

  • Creation and maintenance of a solid pipeline of new opportunities

  • Management of the client from acquisition through to the handover (circa 18 months)

Successful candidates need to have either good vertical sector experience or have experience within an energy and carbon management consultancy. Candidates with a background in Engineering or an engineering degree are of particular interest.

  • You must have a successful sales performance track record of bringing new business into an organisation
  • You must have experience of selling complex solutions
