Climate Bridge is an international company devoted to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the carbon markets. We

We have over 50 professionals at our locations in China (Shanghai & Beijing), the United Kingdom (London), Germany (Munich) 
and Australia (Melbourne) and we are focused on continually developing new ways to reduce emissions through both the 
compliance and voluntary carbon markets.Our projects to date include wind farms, hydro electricity plants, biomass, animal waste 
utilisation, landfill gas and coal mine methane capture, ultra-super critical power generation, waste heat recovery and other forms of energy efficiency.

Business Manager

Your Role
You will be based in Melbourne, but may need to travel, particularly to Asia.  You will work directly for senior management on 

developing, documenting and growing business opportunities for Climate Bridge. You will lead Climate Bridge’s efforts to 
commercialise its carbon credits in the burgeoning Australian carbon markets. You will lead Climate Bridge’s effort to explore 
new strategic opportunities in the Australian carbon markets (eg. CFI, RECs, etc…) and other project and business opportunities in the AsiaPacific region.You will use your excellent skills on Excel and Powerpoint to assist the Company CEO with financial modelling, strategic analysis and the preparation of Board papers and other documentation for the Company’s investors.

Your skills

You must show:
– 1st class honours degree from an internationally-recognised University
– At least 18 months experience with a leading international management consultancy, investment bank or top-tier law firm
– Excellent inter-personal skills
– Sophisticated negotiation ability 
– Personal energy and drive
– Cultural sensitivity, and an ability to work with colleagues all over the world (in numerous different time-zones) 
– Highly numerate, extremely strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
Further, you should be comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the idea of working in an entrepreneurial culture.  You will be willing to jump in and lend a hand on a range of different issues when the need arises.
