Carbon Conversations Manager Opportunity

Do you want to help people across the UK to cut their carbon footprint?

COIN is recruiting a dedicated project manager, with strong marketing and communication skills, to develop the Carbon Conversations programme in order to realise Carbon Conversations’ full potential across the country, both in terms of geographic reach and in accessing new groups and sectors of society.

Carbon Conversations is an engagement process of six friendly, practical meetings to help participants halve their carbon footprint.  Designed with a unique focus on psychological/social aspects of behaviour change in a supportive, non-judgmental environment, Carbon Conversations can help deliver real change, with most participants reducing their carbon emissions by 1 tonne CO2 immediately.

The successful candidate will have proven marketing and publicity skills, be an excellent communicator, preferably with experience in community mobilisation programmes, as well as have sound project management skills.  Initially 3 days a week, this role has the potential for expansion subject to successful fundraising and project development.
