Events Coordinator – The Carbon Trust

Responsibilities:

  • Event coordination and support – Supporting the Event Manager with coordinating and delivering Carbon Trust events and exhibitions
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate internal events activities
  • Event research – Researching suitable third party events for Carbon Trust to speak at or attend.
  • Updating the Press Calendar with key dates and activities for the team
  • Producing collateral for events (agendas, briefing docs, name badges, attendance lists, table plans, signage, speaker biographies)
  • Managing and tracking delegate attendance for events
  • Updating events tracker with identified and researched opportunities
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate internal events activities
  • Writing copy to promote events through website/twitter/LinkedIn/Mailouts
 
Requirements:
 
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills – particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent communicator with positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Organised approach to workload
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work quickly and proactively within a lively team environment
  • Creative mind-set
  • Administration experience
