Contribution to research projects on the international carbon market, especially on the implementation of the flexible Kyoto mechanisms, their linkage to the EU emissions trading system, the development of new market mechanisms under the UNFCCC and the development of national carbon markets in industrialised and developing countries
Active contribution to acquisition of third-party funding for these policy fields
Communication and cultivation of contacts with climate policy stakeholders
Very good knowledge of the above-mentioned policy fields
Very good knowledge of the UN climate negotiations and EU-internal negotiations, with focus on carbon markets
Master’s degree in economics, political or environmental sciences or a comparable subject
Contacts to relevant institutions and networks
Related publications
Prior participation in UN climate conferences is of advantage
Necessary skills:
High level of written and spoken English and German
Further foreign language skills are of advantage
