Sustainability Sales Consultant – Acre Resources

Acre has been engaged by a market leading sustainability solutions business to identify an ambitious sales consultant.
With offices spanning the globe this organisation works with many of the best known Green Brands and boasts numerous Fortune 500 and FTSE100 companies amongst their clients. With some of the industry’s more experienced experts the business is reputed internationally for thought leadership and benefits from its status as a link between research and industry.
With the continued growth of their UK operations the business is now looking to recruit an accomplished sales consultant for their central London offices. Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will initially focus on lead generation with blue chip and mid-market enterprises around the software and consulting services offered by the business. These include corporate and product sustainability software, life cycle assessment, strategic sustainability advice, and carbon footprinting.

  • Introduce the companies products and services to both “cold” and “warm” prospective clients, primarily within the UK
  • Describe the product benefits and advise how these will positively impact the customer
  • Persuade customers to accept a call from sales
  • Gather and document information about the customer
  • Work closely with central marketing to support execution of marketing campaigns.
  •  Whilst you will initially be responsible for lead generation, the successful candidate will later have the opportunity to progress, focusing on specific products or services with an emphasis on solutions selling and developing long term relationships with key clients.

  • Valid U.K. work permit
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to talk comfortably with senior level customers
  • Enjoy working with customers and building relationships
  • Well-organised and thorough, even under pressure
  • Enjoy working within a target-driven team environment
  • A genuine interest in sustainability and the green sector
  • Proven track-record in a sales environment (predominately telephone based sales)
